Founded in 1995, UEC Electronics, LLC is a certified 8(a), SDB, Woman-Owned Small Business. UEC has 70,000 sq ft of engineering, integration, and assembly space located in Charleston, South Carolina.
UEC has been ISO 9001:2000 certified since 1996 and is currently pursuing Level III CMMI and AS9100 certification. We are a graduate of the Navy’s MTAPP (Manufacturing Technical Assistance Production Program)—The Next Generation and have been selected to continue on in the Navy’s DSTARR (Defense Small Business Technology Readiness Resource) Program. We recently entered into a DoD Mentor Protégé relationship with an emphasis on technology transfer and additional quality certifications. UEC has twice been awarded the Emerging 10 Award for Setting the Standard in Technology and Innovation in the Charleston tri-county area.
SBA presents UEC with the U.S. Small Business Award for Excellence for providing rapid response to needs of design support for the MRAP program.
