Facilities
UEC possesses four facilities on two campuses in the Charleston SC area. The four facilitates have a combined square footage of greater than 86,000 square feet. A short description of each is provided. Campus 1 is located off of Howard Street in Hanahan and is home to buildings 1 and 2; Campus 2 is located off of Piggly Wiggly Drive in North Charleston and is home to buildings 3 and 4.
 Bldg 1 is located in Hanahan SC. This building houses much of the UEC production support staff work spaces such as quality, production managers, buyers, drafters, 3d modeling. In addition to the production support staff the infrastructure staff support also resides in this building, they include human
resources, information technology, accounting and contracts. The production floor in building one is primarily used for CCA Production, system, component and FOD & ESD sensitive integration.
 Bldg 2 consists of both office space, lab space, warehousing and a sizeable production floor. The office space in building two is where our team of multi-disciplined engineers collaborate. The building itself includes a secure electronics laboratory, production space for large scale non-FOD sensitive integration efforts and the materials management area that supports all four UEC buildings.
 Bldg 3 is located in North Charleston SC. This building is primarily used for large military vehicle integration efforts. The building includes office space for personnel, a conference room, production space with three large bay doors and
loading docks to facilitate movement of equipment into and out of the facility.
Bldg 4 is located in North Charleston SC. This building is solely used for large vehicle production and integration efforts.
