UEC specializes in rapid prototyping and proof of concept builds. Our service initiates with comprehensive trade-off studies and specification development
at the concept phase. Detailed engineering and design execution, prototype
builds, and design validation are then completed to ensure a successful product launch and transition to volume manufacturing.
All designs incorporate Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly methodologies to deliver efficient and producible products. Our most recent successes are in support of the Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP)
vehicle program. UEC has provided rapid designs and prototypes for the electronic systems for various vehicles as well as a 24V Power Distribution
Unit (PDU). This successful design has resulted in production orders for over 3500 units.
