DTS Weapons Management Test Stand
UEC was contracted to specify, design, fabricate, and calibrate a complex, semi-automated, multi-mode, script driven Development Test System (DTS) for the Sikorsky S-70B Anti-Submarine Warfare, Search & Rescue, Reconnaissance Helicopter. |

Tru-D UV Area Sterilization System
The TRU-D UV Area Sterilization System (UVAS), distributed by Lumalier Corporation, was developed in conjunction with a local surgeon and former Chief of Staff of a major area hospital. UVAS is a patented, portable, surface and air disinfection unit that automatically calculates and disperses the required level of UV energy needed to disinfect an area. |

GMMS
UEC helped GMMS design and engineer the WaterSafeTM leak prevention system. The WaterSafeTM leak prevention system was designed to wirelessly monitor appliances, HVAC units, bathrooms, water heaters, and any other high risk area in the home. If the sensors detect a threat, the main water supply to the home is blocked, preventing major water damage. Once the problem is resolved, the “auto-reverse” button located on the internal controller is pressed and the water flow is restored immediately. |

UEC was chosen by SPAWAR based on UEC’s in-depth commercial and military vehicle integration experience; 3D modeling & simulation skills; rapid-prototyping and manufacturing expertise. Other factors include UEC’s 21K sq-ft. fully-equipped test and integration facility that includes welding, plasma cutting, and overhead lift capabilities.

Mine Resistant Ambush Protected (MRAP) Power Distribution Unit (PDU)
UEC was selected by SPAWAR because of UEC’s in-house engineering, 3D modeling & simulation, and rapid manufacturing expertise. The project requirement was todesign & rapid-prototype communications & IED jamming equipment rack Power Distribution Unit. The net result was a completed design in 2 weeks. UEC delivered 10 functional prototype units for evaluation and functional testing within 8 weeks.
