Gen3 6T Alliance is an industry-led consortium charged with maintaining and developing the Gen3 6T Battery, a NATO format lithium-ion battery with significantly improved durability, energy density, and longevity than the lead-acid equivalent.

The Gen3 6T Alliance will seek manufacturing partners previously obstructed from the market by the high cost of qualifying a new Li-ion battery.

Partnership will extend to the custodians of MIL-PRF-32565 and to pioneers of Li-ion technology. Leveraging qualified components and manufacturing base, Gen3 6T Alliance will significantly accelerate the introduction of performance enhancing technology by developing a qualification path tailored to each submission.

Gen3 6T Alliance will improve production capacity, drive supply chain resilience, and accelerate development of a product key to the US Army future mobility and energy goals.
